Exciting New Release!

I’m delighted to introduce my friend and talented author, Yvette M. Calleiro, and her soon-to-be-released, The One Redeemed. Yvette’s epic saga, the Diasodz Series, captivated me with her inspired world-building and wonderful characters. This new book, Drakes’s story, is sure to add richness and depth to an already excellent series. It is truly an honor to host my friend, the talented author of the epic saga of the Diasodz. The Chronicles of the Diasodz Series

When I first dreamed about the Diasodz world, I thought it would be a trilogy. It has become so much more than that. With the final novel now released, I thought we’d take a journey through the series for those who haven’t read the books yet.

The One Redeemed truly should be read last as it is the culminating book. It can be read as a standalone since his journey revisits his past, but the impact of those moments may not have the same effect if you aren’t invested in the characters.

Here is the order in which I would recommend the stories. I’ve provided the links so you can explore the book blurbs and read the reviews.

The One Chosen: A Diasodz Short Story

This is a short story that explains how the love triangle between Drake, Valerie, and Nolan began. It sets the stage for all the chaos that comes later.

The One Discovered

This begins the story of Ar’ch and Angel coming to Earth to retrieve Sofia. It is permanently free on Amazon.

The One Enlightened

This book explores Caelagios and begins Sofia’s training to become a Diasodz. We meet Valerie and Nolan and learn more of their backstory in this book.

The One Betrayed

This book runs parallel to The One Enlightened but follows Rafe’s journey. It also tells Damiana’s and Drake’s backstory.

The One Revealed

Sofia’s life is put in danger, and the boys must work together if she is to be saved. Damiana is building her power and gathering her forces to destroy her enemies once and for all.

The One Awakened

The final battle has begun. Sofia must choose which side of her family to save and who she is willing to lose.

The One Redeemed

And finally, Drake’s story! His story is one of reflection, regret, and redemption. Even the antagonists deserve a chance to redeem themselves, don’t they?

I hope you will dive into my world of Diasodz. I have no doubt you will thoroughly enjoy the journey.

Author Bio:

Yvette M. Calleiro is the author of the Chronicles of the Diasodz fantasy series, HYPE, and a couple of short stories. As a heavily addicted reader of both young adult and adult novels, she spends most of her time pseudo-living in paranormal worlds with her fictional friends (and boyfriends).

When she’s living among real people, Yvette M. Calleiro is a middle school Reading and Language Arts teacher. She’s been sharing her love of literature with her students for over twenty years. Besides writing about the various characters that whisper (and sometimes scream) in her head, she enjoys traveling, watching movies, spending quality time with family and friends, and enjoying the beauty of the ocean.

Although an avid traveler, Yvette lives in Miami, Florida, with her incredible son who has embraced her love for paranormal and adventurous stories. She also shares her space with an assortment of crazy saltwater animals in her 300-gallon tank.

Much of his personality comes from his father who served in the military for 30 years and three wars. Charles grew up on multiple bases and different countries. The multi-cultural exposure helps him with the various character perspectives they bring to the series. His personal ambition is to continue to teach Burkey humor.

BURKEY– Rox is a Customer Experience Specialist who works with businesses worldwide. As a gifted speaker and accomplished listener, she bridges the chasm between business problems and technical solutions to optimize business productivity. She has written technology and white papers, but launches into high gear when plotting our next technothriller or short story.

She led the other kids with her highly charged imagination generating new adventures with make-believe characters as a child. She is proud of being a Girl Scout until high school and contributed to the community as a member of a Head Start program. Rox enjoys her family, learning, listening to people, traveling, outdoor activities, sewing, cooking, and thinking about diversifying the series.

This book evolved out of years of frustration at the total disregard and lack of respect for the contributions of Black Catholics in the city of Detroit. The author says, “We are not mentioned in the pages of history along with the other Catholic churches that sprung up during the World War II era, and that needed to be corrected.” The author did fulfill one dream since publication … that this church can now be found on the web even though it has merged with another church. It is now called Presentation-Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
